1. The rental price
The rental prices are in euros, per week and are applicable for the accommodation mentioned in the reservation letter in this case apartment Mar i Muntanya, Roger de Llúria 6, 17130 L’Escala, Costa Brava, Catalonea, Spain.
2. Included in the rental price
unless stated differently in the reservation letter, in the rental price is included : water, electricity, final cleaning, bed linen and 2 bath towels per person, wifi. If your booking is for 2 weeks or more a changeover of bedlinnen and bath and kitchen towel is provided after every week.
3. Reservation and rental deposit
After receiving a reservation, Mrs Cati Costals Ribas owner of the property, draws up a reservation letter with details. The customer must provide the details for this reservation letter within a short notice. The Owner will send the reservation letter with all the details of the booking by e-mail to the customer.
30% of the total balance must be paid before 7 days of the date mentioned in the reservation letter. 100% must be paid before 7 days, when the the booking is 60 days or shorter from the arrival date. Payments must be done by an banktransfer. All costs of this transfer are for the account of the customer. All transfers will be confirmed after receipt. The owner may cancel the booking when she does not receive either payment according to the date mentioned in the reservation letter. With the booking paid, the customer agrees to the owner rental conditions.
4. Total balance
The total balance must be paid on the day of arrival in cash. It is also allowed to make a banktransfer a few days before arrival. Please be advised that in case of cash payments it is not allowed to use 500 and 200 Euro bills.
5. Security deposit
The security deposit is € 150 and not included in the rental price and must be paid in cash during the check in upon arrival. This deposit will be fully returned to the customer by bank transfer within 3 days after the departure date, if the owner considers the accommodation left according to the conditions of the owner. Small amounts due to damage shall be deducted from this deposit before paying back the deposit to the customer and in case of major damage costs, the owner will hold the customer responsible. We advise to check if any damages are covered by your travel insurance.
6. Final cleaning
The accommodation is clean on arrival. The accommodation is equipped with vacum cleaner and other cleaning accesories to enable the customer to keep the accommodation tidy during their stay. The accommodation must be left clean.
Covid-19: The accommodation is cleaned following a cheklist and proceeding all severe regulations of the Spanish government regarding hygiene. You will find on your arrival for personnel use gloves and desinfecting soap or gel. Also the accommodation will be provided with more pratical stuff as extra garbage bags, cleaning products, etc.
In July and August the minimum stay is 7 nights. Arrival and departure days are on Friday, Saturday and Sunday depending availability. During the other months the amount of days, the arrival and check out day are flexible.

The owner does not allow more persons in the accomodation, other than mentioned in the reservation letter. The guestsnames must correspond with the names in the reservation letter. If not, The owner has the right to cancel the reservation and the customers will have to leave the accommodation. There will be no re-fund.
12. Cancellation by the customer ( Read the 'NOTE COVID-19' at the end of these conditions)
In case of cancellation the customer must inform the owner in writing, by email or regular post. The date of the written cancellation is received by the owner is considered as the cancellation date and used to calculate the cancellation costs. We recommend taking a travel and cancellation insurance.
Cancellation costs are calculated over the total paid balance or the downpayment:
• till 60 days before date of arrival: 10% , that is 1/3 of the downpayment
• from 60 days till 30 days before date of arrival: 20%, that is 2/3 of the downpayment
• from 30 days till day of arrival: 30%, that is the total downpayment
If the reservation is made between the 60 days before of the date of arrival (see art. 3), the cancellation costs are calculated of the total rent and are as follows:
• in between 60 and 45 days of date of arrival : 20%
• in between 45 and 30 days of date of arrival : 40%
• in between 30 and 15 days of date of arrival: 60%
• from 15 days before of date of arrival : 80%
13. Arriving later than the arrival date and leaving earlier than the departure date
The owner will not pay a refund.
Are not allowed in June, July, August and September. Negociable however during other months of the year. If the permission is granted, it must be noted in the reservation letter. An axtra charge for a pet is € 50 during all the period of stay.
The owner is not responsible and cannot be held responsible for any accidents, loss, or damage caused to the customer during the stay in the accommodation. The owner is also not responsible for theft or damage of personal belongings.It is in everyone´s interest to read and follow the rules provided in the accommodation.
16. Construction work, noise, pollution and/or health
It may occur that noise is produced in the area. The owner cannot be held responsible nor shall the owner pay refunds for any disturbance caused to the customer`s stay as a result of for example: construction work, noise, or pollution. It may also occur that the government orders water restrictions.We recommended to read publications about this and seek advice at the owner.
The owner will assist by providing information and advice.
17. Catalan Tourist tax
In Catalonia a tourist tax is te be paid. Estimated calculation is € 0,90 (excl. 10% VAT) per person per night up to maximum of 7 nights. Children of the age of 16 years and younger are excluded from this tourist tax. This tax must be paid on arrival and in cash during the check in. The rate and regulations may change.
18. Approval rental conditions
The rental conditions are sent to the customer before or with the reservation letter. The rental conditions are considered approved after receiving the first payment.
